Golden Life Hospital in Bamako, Mali from 06.04.2023 to 12.04.2023.
We have been working with the "New Face" organization and the Golden Life Hospital in Bamako, Mali, for eight years now. Once again this year, a team was dedicated to reconstructive surgery. Most of the patients were children suffering from scar contractures on their hands, facial noma or congenital defects. However, breast reconstructions after breast cancer were also performed, a project that Interplast Switzerland is increasingly trying to establish in developing countries.
