Clinique Centre Medico-Chirurgical Sédogo from 10.10.2024 to 10.19.2024.
As part of our aim to improve breast cancer care and treatment, as well as breast reconstruction after breast resection, a team from Interplast Switzerland spent 10 days in Léo, Burkina Faso, doing just that. They performed major operations with very little equipment, and helped 15 women return to a normal life after diagnosis and initial treatment for breast cancer. Even the CEO of Motiva ®, a videographer and the Burkina Faso Minister of Health accompanied us. No two missions are alike.
